GDG- Re: Gettysburg Digest, Vol 29, Issue 28, Flags of Our Fathers

Greetings:

This posting has nothing to do with  Gettysburg, the Civil war or Notre Dame 
football.

About a year ago I read a book titled Flags of Our Fathers by James  Bradley. 
 Mr. Bradley's father was one of the flag raisers on the famous  picture 
taken at Iwo Jima. Great book.

This afternoon  I saw the movie version of the book.  Great movie.

If you feel like diverting from Cottington, Pfanz, Martin etc I give  both 
the book and the movie 2 thumbs up.

Now, back to  the lurking corner.
