NEXT UP in the Civil War Forum Conference Series: Saturday, October 21, 2006
Professor Mark Grimsley will be our guest, beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST in the Civil War Forum. He'll be on hand to discuss his authorship of two of the best Civil War battlefield guides on the market, on Shiloh, and Gettysburg, and what goes into the monumental task of creating an authoritative guidebook. Mark will also field queries about his other books, and his thoughts on "How to Read a Battlefield."
The Civil War Forum Conference Series is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions directly of today's foremost Civil War authors and historians in a moderated, chat room setting. First time visitors will be prompted to create a screen name and password, but that's it.
Visit the Civil War Forum at http://community.netscape.com/civilwar and click on Room 1 under the Chat Center.
