GDG- Restoring the Field - 1895

Esteemed members:

While looking through some old newspaper articles yesterday, I happened to
note the following in the Gettysburg Compiler dated September 3, 1895:

³Restoring the Field
The work of cleaning out the underbrush, which has so much improved Devil¹s
Den, is being carried out at Little Round Top, the Loop, along Confederate
avenue and at other points of the field, and the stone fences which were
used as breastworks are being rebuilt.²
