GDG- Vicksburg

Hello Esteemed Members of the GDG,
  As ussual, I come to you with hat in hand. Nearing the midway point in our journey back east, I find that I'll be able to spend a day or two in Vicksburg, Mississippi (just love to spell that name out!). But having nothing to do with Gettysburg, other than a time frame, I thought I would still inquire from the group how I might extract the most from my visit. i.e. tours, sights, guides etc.. A good place to munch out would also be high on my list ;-) Thank you in advance!
  Also am aiming to be in the "Burg" at the end of next week. If anyone is plaining on being there or lives there and leans towards ground pounding I'ld sure like to tag alone. Feel free to contact me by private e-mail. TY again.
