Thanks very much - it makes sense that there would be more than one.   If 
there were no others than Jerome assigned to Buford, then at least I know the 
name of one of his flagmen/couriers!    Too bad Stone doesn't elaborate a bit 
more on his activities that day...I'm sure he had NO idea that 143 years later, 
we'd still be chatting about the events that day.   

Do you how I might get in touch with Col Cameron?   I assume he has an email 
address?   Someone else mentioned Steve Rauch - does anyone have his address?
