I attended Remembrance Weekend as I do every year. On the 18th at about the time that Lincoln would have arrived in GB, a ceremony was held to rededicate the newly restored RR station. It was a nice day and Lincoln himself spoke. Despite some other politicians on hand, the ceremony was just long enough and well done. Three officers from the USS Gettysburg were honored. I didn't get a chance to see the inside of the station this weekend, but previewed it last May when it was open during Doors Open. It looks great. I also drove by the construction site of the new VC. It is impressive, but sets back enough, that it doesn't appear it will not disturb the views around it. Also the view from LRT is incredible with the continuing treeless landscape.
