GDG- Stowe Dissertation

Amid all the debate about the Master's thesis on Meade at Gettysburg, I
hope someone in the group - one of our members with a strong interest in
Meade - takes a look at the dissertation if they get a chance/want to.
Although not about the battle, it would probably give some insight into
Meade.  You can probably find a 24 page excerpt at UMI ProQuest too.
 
Compared to Master's theses, dissertations often have an even greater
reliance on unpublished archival sources.  The bibliography to this
would also probably list a lot of what's been written on Meade.
