    Thanks for a substantive and descriptive review of the book!  It's just
what I wanted, cut to the salient points and briefly describe the very
noteworthy features of the narrative and outline of the book.  I hope I can
find it out here on the west coast.  There are many titles I saw at the
'Burg bookstores that are indigenous to the east, where the great
battlefields are.
    My second point is that why Hancock's heroic action on July 2nd never
made it up to highest chain of command to be cited for the CMOH
(Congressional Medal of Honor), instead of that lecher Dan Sickles.
    One more point, was the book heavily footnoted and the sources quite
legitimate.  Works that focus on reexamination such as this one must key on
the credibility of its painstaking research, especially from events with
little or no records.
