Esteemed GDG Member Contributes:
Thanks, guys - from Eric and myself, we appreciate it very much.
The book went to the printer 2 weeks ago, and will be shipping on August 15.
For anyone who has preordered from Savas Beatie's site
(http://www.savasbeatie.com/StuartRide.html) or from Amazon or some other
online source, you should be receiving yours right after that.

<< Eric's topic was his
new book (co-authored with J.D. Petruzzi) "Plenty of Blame to Go Around:
Jeb Stuart's Controversial Ride to Gettysburg." Eric's talk was one of the
best I have ever heard at these type of events. His command of the subject
and ability to convey it are top notch.
Keep an eye out for the book. Publication has been delayed, but will be out
in the Fall I believe. I have had a chance to read it in draft, and it is
the most comprehensive and objective study on this subject I have seen thus
far.

As did I. It's a long overdue effort to put Stuart's entire ride in
context, and provide detailed descriptions of a number of too often
overlooked incidents and engagements along the way. Members will find it
well worth the wait.
