As you've mentioned yourself in earlier posts, Union accounts are unanimous
that no such significant breakthrough occurred. >>
I don't believe any serious student of the battle thinks that Wright's
brigade did anything like what Chuck asked you if you believed it did
("...that Wright's Brigade broke the Union line at the stone wall and
reached the crest of the ridge capturing
more guns.")
What that question struck me as was the old, and rather transparent,
debating trick of making it sound as if your opponent believes something
everybody knows to be wrong, thereby "proving" that your position must, by
default, be right.
It's really a shame that Chuck appears to be unwilling present his evidence,
or to try to explain or defend his contentions regarding Wright's brigade,
here on the board, as he has attempted to do on other Internet forums.
Members might find it instructive to see just what his evidence really
amounts to.
