I'm an adherent to the Popeye philosophy also.

I generally don't have a problem when the conclusions are couched in less
than absolute terms.  We generally are not at all sure we, or the author,
know all the relevant facts or evidence. I actually have much more of a
problem when the situation is presented in absolute terms.

The two most overused words in TV are absolutely and exactly IMHO.

Hello,

      That is a good point to remember: we write as we were trained to 
write and we analyze other writings as we were taught to analyze. It does 
create gaps in interpretation of events.
