BTW, Santa is Kevin Rawlings who does a great Civil War Santa. However, yesterday he was a 1900's Santa because of the period of the house. Kevin wrote the book, "They were Marching on Christmas Day", which is a great book. I have in the past posted some of his material, with his permission of course.
And to bring this all back to Gettysburg - Pennypacker Mills was the home of Samuel Pennypacker who fought (I am being generous here) with the 26th Pa Emergency unit. Pennypacker, later Governor of Pa, dedicated the 26th Pa statue sitting on the Chambersburg Rd, on the way out of town.
