Due to one of those cosmic coincidences that seem to direct my path, I recently found myself walking around the South Canaan (Pa.) Protestant Bible Cemetery Where I noted several ACW Veterans stones, marked with a GAR Star and an American Flag.
If one wanted to find out more about let's say, Sergt. Leonard Single, CO. C, I D.C Inf. or any of the other Vets interred there,Just out of curiosity, What procedure would one follow to find out if they served at Gettysburg? .
