GDG- Lincoln Photos - August 9, 1863

It appears that Lincoln's features changed considerably within a few months.
He looks well in the August 1863 photo (the Gettysburg and Vicksburg
victories may have had something to do with that).  By November he has
deep-set eyes and his creases are deepening.  In the January photo he is
starting to look gaunt.  The weight of his job must have been taking a toll
by then.
